Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Architectural Engineering Summary: Sustainable urban mobility is a topic of concern between various city governments around the world because it provides movement and accessibility to people with the least environmental impact possible, which helps to achieve a greater purpose which is the protection of the environment as a part of the strategic plans of countries, including Egypt. The study seeks to monitor the challenges that hinder the movement of people in new cities and to observe the impact of the available solutions or improvements applied by the government to encourage the inhabitants of new cities to use green modes of mobility. The research studies the mobility situation in Sheikh Zayed City and it provides optimal guidelines and solutions to decision-makers and relevant stakeholders to guide them in improving mobility conditions for the citizens in new cities in Egypt
