Dissertation note: Thesis (PH.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty Of Science - Department Of Botany (Microbiology) Summary: A maximum ? - glucanase production of 510 U / ml after 48h cultivation was obtained using an optimized medium which had an initial lactose level of 7 g / l , 24 g / l yeast extract and 5g / l NaClMoreover , batch fermentation and fed batch cultivation using the optimized medium increased markedly the production of 1400U / ml Beta - glucanase after only 15hAlso immobilization techniques gives higher stability and prolonged production of this enzyme
