The aim of the present study was to compare inter-appointment pain after using ledermix intracanal medicament paste and calcium hydroxide intracanal medicament paste versus no intracanal medication on patients with necrotic anterior and premolar teeth utilizing modified visual analogue scale at 6, 12, 24 and 48 hours after 1st visit. Forty two patients with necrotic anterior and premolar teeth with or without periapical radiolucency were diagnosed clinically and radigraphically was endodontically treated in tow visits, at first visit mechanical preparation was done then Intracanal medicament was injected in root canals. The patients were divided into 3 equal groups of 14 patients each according to the intracanal medication used: A. Group A: ledermix intracanal medicament. B. Group B: Calcium hydroxide intracanal medicament. C. Group C: No intracanal medicament used. Postoperative pain was assessed using the modified visual analogue scale (MVAS) 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours and 48 hours after instrumentation. At the second visit after 7days, the patient was recalled for completion of root canal treatment. All demographic data and MVAS scores obtained from patients were statistically analyzed
