Deltamethrin is a highly effective insecticide so it is widely used against a broad spectrum of insects in agriculture and home formulation. The main source of human exposure to deltamethrin is contaminated food and water as deltamethrin is readily absorbed the oral route. This study is carried out to evaluate the possible alterations resulting from oral administration of deltmethrin on the kidney of adult albino rat and the possible protective role of vitamin "E" as an antioxidant cellular protection against the oxidative damage induced by deltamethrin toxicity
