Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Physical Therapy - Department of Physical Therapy for Cardiopulmonary and Geriatrics Disorders Summary: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of shock wave therapy on microcirculation in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy ( type 2 ) . Thirty patients participated in the study , their age ranges from 40 to 55 years . They were divided into two equal groups . The studied group ( fifteen patients ) , received shock wave (swt) program (3000 skock, 1000 / session, 3 sessions, 2 weeks a part, 0.32mJ/mm ²) in addition to oral hypoglycemic drugs
