The aim of this work is to perform reliability analysis of the free vibration of a composite plate with material and fabrication uncertainties using the Stochastic Finite Element MethodThe stochastic analysis is performed using the First Order Reliability Method (FORM - method 2) and the Second Order Reliability Method (SORM) In order to apply either of these techniques , a set of random variables is initially selectedThe basic random variables include laminae stiffness properties and material density , as well as the randomness in ply orientation angles which results from fabrication
