Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) is one of the most important vegetable crops grown in Egypt was cultivated in both the open field and greenhouse. Cucumber plant is one of the annual plants in the Cucurbitaceous family that has been cultivated by man for over 3,000 years. Cucumber is a very good source of vitamins A, C, K, and B6, also, contain potassium, pantothenic acid, magnesium, phosphorus, copper and manganese. Cucumber fruits are extremely beneficial for overall health, especially during the summer since they are mostly made of water and important nutrients that are essential for the human body. The cucumber fruits contain ascorbic acid and caffeic acid to reduce skin irritation and swollen. The cultivated area was increased especially for exportation. Whereas the production of cucumber was 11750 tons from the cultivated area of 1726 feddans. (According to the administration for statistics, 2017; unpublished data). Cucumber plants are subjected to infestation by many pests which reduce productivity and quality such as, the whitefly, Bemisia tabaci Genn., the aphid, Aphis gossypii Glover, the thrips, Thrips tabaci Lindquist, the leaf miner, Liriomyza bryoniae (Kalt), in addition to the spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch. The present study was conducted during 2015 & 2016 seasons on cucumber plants at Qaha - Qalubiya governorate to Survey of pests and their associated natural enemies occurred on cucumber plants (Cucamis sativus L) for the tested hybrids. Impact of plant stage on population density of pests infesting different cucumber hybrids. Effect of different cucumber hybrids, different planting dates and interaction between them. Effect of some ecological factors on population dynamics of pests infesting cucumber (var. hayel)
