Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Anatomy Summary: ACR has got many toxic effects. It was found to possess a range of hazardous properties, in the form of carcinogenicity, genotoxicity, neurotoxicity and reproductive toxicity. The present study goals to search and discover adverse effects of ACR on the testes in a trial to correlate these dangerous effects on human health and the possible effect of vitamin E and celery oil. The present study demonstrated that ACR caused variable pathological changes in the testis ranging from mild to severe adverse effects according to the duration of administration in the form of decrease of the diameter of the seminiferous tubules, reduction of the weight of the testis, degeneration of the spermatogenic epithelium with focal areas of cytoplasmic vacuolation and widening of interstitial tissue in -between and appearance of interstitial fluid exudates and congested blood vessels
