Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Entomolgy Summary: The objective of the present study is to investigate the suscepubility of adults of oryzaephilus surinamensis to gamma irradiation and to thymus vulguris and urginea maritima extracted by different solvents and their combined effect, the obtained data indicated that, irradiation of newly emerged adults of oryzaephilus surinamensis caused complete mortality at the dose level 2320 Gy after 9 day from treatment
