This study demonstrated statistically significant difference in age (HCV patients are older), pretreatment AST and albumin, after treatment TLC and PLT, hepatic toxicity of 52 patients who were HCV-positive 17 (32.7%) had hepatic toxicity compared with 3 of 48 (6.4%) patients who were HCV-negative. Viral load significantly differed before and after chemotherapy HCV-RNA levels at baseline and end of treatment were 3146854.79 and 3811141.14 respectively. Outcome of HCV-positive patients was poorer for 3 years{u2019} disease free survival (P=0.058) but not for overall survival P=.38
