قامت الدراسة الراهنة من أجل تحقيق هدف رئيسي تمثل في التعرف على دور المرأة في الحفاظ علي الموروث الثقافي في منطقة حلايب وشلاتين، والتعرف علي المعوقات التي تواجه المرأة في الحفاظ علي الموروث الثقافي ومن أجل تحقيق الهدف العام والرئيسي للدراسة إستعانت الباحثة بالعديد من الإجراءات المنهجية والنظرية تمثلت في نظرية الدور والبنائية الوظيفية والمدخل الإيكولوجي، المنهج الأنثروبولوجي وبأدواته الميدانية كالمقابلة والملاحظة وذلك من خلال المقابلات الميدانية معايشة المجتمع المدروس التي قامت الباحثة بالتواجد في مجتمع الدراسة وإجراء المقابلات الميدانية.
وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج منها
1- لعبت الطبيعة الإيكولوجية دوراً مؤثراً في تشكيل الموروث الثقافي لسكان حلايب وشلاتين، حيث أثرت البيئة علي الممارسات الثقافية في الحياة اليومية بشقيها المادي وغير المادي.
2- تتمتع المرأة البجاوية بمكانة مرتفعة في مجتمع الدراسة، حيث لها أدوار مؤثرة في بناء المجتمع الإجتماعي والإقتصادي والثقافي نتيجة الأدوار الهامة التي تقوم بها من أجل إستقرار المجتمع البجاوي.
3- هناك دور مؤثر للمرأة البجاوية في الحفاظ علي الموروثات الثقافية بمجتمع الدراسة، ويظهر ذلك في المسكن التقليدي والملابس التقليدية والصناعات اليدوية التي تقوم بها المرأة في حلايب وشلاتين.

The current study was carried out in order to achieve a main goal, which was to identify the role of women in preserving the cultural heritage in the Halayeb and Shalateen region, and to identify the obstacles facing women in preserving the cultural heritage. In order to achieve the general and main goal of the study, the researcher used many methodological and theoretical procedures, including: In role theory, functional constructivism, and the ecological approach, the anthropological approach and its field tools such as interview and observation, through field interviews, the experience of the studied community, in which the researcher was present in the study community and conducted field interviews.
The study reached a set of results, including
1- Ecological nature played an influential role in shaping the cultural heritage of the residents of Halayeb and Shalateen, as the environment influenced cultural practices in daily life, both material and non-material.
2- Bejawi women enjoy a high status in the study community, as they have influential roles in building the social, economic and cultural community as a result of the important roles they play for the stability of Bejawi society.
3- There is an influential role for Bejawi women in preserving the cultural heritage of the study community, and this appears in the traditional dwelling, traditional clothes, and handicrafts carried out by women in Halayeb and Shalatin.
