The topic of the research is the revolutionary realism in the Chinese and Egyptian novel "The Song of Youth" by Liang Mo and "The Open Door" by Latifa Al-Zayat as an example. And monitor the facts of the revolution. As for its characteristics, it expresses life and describes reality in a realistic and historical way, from the development of realistic revolutionary struggles. This term essentially combines "revolution" and "reality".
The research is divided into four chapters:
The first chapter is entitled: Revolutionary Realism in the Chinese Novel and the Arabic Novel, and it is divided into two chapters: The first chapter talks about the historical background about the stages of the emergence of revolutionary realism in Chinese and Egyptian literature. Then comes the second chapter under the title of the comparative study between the emergence of this current in the Chinese and Egyptian novels. Through the comparison study between the two literatures, it becomes clear to us that there is a trend of revolutionary realism in the modern Egyptian novel represented in the novels of the national struggle, of which the novel (The Open Door) published in 1960 by the Egyptian writer Latifa Al-Zayyat is one of its models, which I will discuss in the study. Perhaps the emergence of this trend after the revolution means the desire to assert the national self, highlight the spirit of struggle, record the events of the revolution, and suggest that the outbreak of this revolution came as a culmination of battles waged by the national forces. As for the second chapter, it came under the title: Comparative Study of the Life of Chinese Writer Yang Mu and Egyptian Writer Latifa Al-Zayyat, and it consists of two chapters: Chapter One is an introduction to the lives of the Chinese and Egyptian writers and their creative careers. As for the third chapter, it came under the title: A comparative study between revolutionary realism in the novel “The Song of Youth” and the novel “The Open Door.” It is divided into two chapters: The second chapter comes under the title of a comparative study between the image of the revolutionary hero in the novel "The Song of Youth" and the novel "The Open Door".
As for the fourth chapter, it came under the title: Artistic methods in constructing the story between the novel “The Open Door” and the novel “The Song of Youth”. It is divided into three chapters: The first chapter deals with the analysis of the artistic methods in the novel “The Open Door”. Youth", through each of the following: plot, narration, language, and others in dealing with the revolutionary reality, and learn about the most important forms and contexts adopted by the Chinese writer and the Egyptian writer in their handling of the image of Chinese and Arab society, their portrayal and treatment of it, as well as the formation of characters in the two novels, events, and space Time and space, discourse construction in the two novels, and narration levels. The third chapter is a comparison between the artistic methods used in the two novels.
The research is interested in studying the comparison of two novels that have not been previously compared, which makes the research clarify and monitor the vision of the Chinese writer and the Egyptian writer in dealing with topics interested in monitoring the revolutionary reality in that important historical period, which was the subject of interest for a large number of writers in Chinese and Egyptian literature.
