يلقي البحث الضوء على المستعرب الياباني (توشيهيكو إيزوتسو) (1914-1993)، ويتكون من مدخل وستة فصول، المدخل حول مفهوم الاستعراب ونشأته التاريخية، الفصل الأول حول نشأة الاستعراب الياباني وأهدافه، وأبرز مستعربيه وأهم أعمالهم، ومنهم (توشيهيكو ايزوتسو)؛ وترجمته، وأهم أعماله الفكرية، وأبرز ملامح منهجه الدلالي؛ والفصل الثاني حول الرؤية القرآنية الدلالية للعالم، وتحته أربعة فصول، والفصل الثالث حول المعالجة العقلية للإيمان في علم الكلام المدرسي، وتحته ثلاثة فصول، والفصل الرابع حول المعالجة الوجدانية للإيمان في التصوف الإسلامي، وتحته فصلان، والفصل الخامس حول المفهومات الأخلاقية الدينية فى القرآن، وتحته ثلاثة فصول، الفصل السادس: تقييم ونقد لمنهج إيزوتسو في دراسة الفكر الإسلامي مع تعقيب للباحث.

The research sheds light on the Japanese Arabist (Toshihiko Izutsu) (1914-1993), and it consists of an introduction and six chapters, the introduction on the concept of Arabization and its historical origins, the first chapter on the emergence of Japanese Arabization and its goals, and its most prominent Arabists and most important works, including (Toshihiko Izutsu); Its translation, his most important intellectual works, and the most prominent features of his semantic approach: The second chapter is about the semantic Quranic vision of the world, and under it are four chapters. The third chapter is about the rational treatment of faith in scholastic theology, and under it is three chapters. The fourth chapter is about the emotional treatment of faith in Islamic Sufism, and under it is two chapters. The fifth chapter is about religious moral concepts in the Qur’an, and under it is Three chapters, Chapter Six: Evaluation and criticism of the Izutsu approach in studying Islamic thought, with a comment by the researcher.
