تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على واحدة من العائالت التي تنتمي للطبقة العليا التي ظهرت على قمة المجتمع المصري منذ بداية الوجود الروماني في مصر، و آلت إليها سيادة المجتمع في مصر طوال مدة تواجدها، حيث كان أفراد هذه العائلة مواطنين سكندريين يعيشون في اإلسكندرية، ثم حصلوا على الجنسية الرومانية في عهد اإلمبراطور جايوس، و شاركوا كما كانوا أيض في إدارة البالد، حيث تولى أفراد العائلة العديد من الوظائف المهمة، فكانوا رجال دولة، ا من طبقة كبار المالك في مصر، حيث حصلوا على أ راض وممتلكات على نطاق واسع في أكثر من إقليم من األقاليم المصرية، فكان أساس كما كان لهم أيض ممتلكاتهم في أوكسيرنخوس، ا ممتلكات في أرسينوي، وكذلك في هرموبوليس، وعلى الرغم من اتساع رقعة هذه الممتلكات وانتشارها في أكثر من إقليم اال أنهم كانوا يعيشون في اإلسكندرية؛ حيث إن طبيعة الوظائف التي كانوا يشغلونها كانت تتطلب تواجدهم في اإلسكندرية، لذلك عهدوا إلى مجموعة من الموظفين إدارة ممتلكاتهم، ولكن تحت إشراف أفراد العائلة. كما أن بعض أفراد العائلة قد حصلوا على عضويات شرفية، كالعضوية الشرفية للموسيون، وشاركوا في مهمات رسمية، لة ضمن البعثة التي أرسلها السكندريون لإلمبراطور كالوديوس بعد أن هدأت األوضاع بين حيث كان أحد أفراد العائ وفي عهد اإلمبراطور تراجان أيض يالسكندري ن واليهود في اإلسكندرية ، ا عندما ذهبت بعثة للمثول أمام اإلمبراطور والدفاع عن وجهة نظرهم في الخالف مع اليهود، كان أحد أفراد العائلة واحدا من سفراء البعثة على ش ن دلإوهذا ،كذلك يء فإ ما يدلن ُ على مكانة أفراد العائلة، فال بد أن أفراد هذه البعثات كان ختارون من صفوة المجتمع.

This study seeks to shed light on one of the families belonging to the upper class that
appeared at the top of Egyptian society since the beginning of the Roman presence in Egypt,
And the sovereignty of society in Egypt devolved to this family throughout its existence, The
members of this family were Alexandrian citizens living in Alexandria, Then they obtained
Roman citizenship during the reign of Emperor Gaius, and participated in the administration
of the country, where family members assumed many important jobs, They were statesmen,
as they were also from the upper class of landlords in Egypt, where they acquired land and
property on a large scale in more than one of the Egyptian regions, and the basis of their
possessions was in Oxyrhynchus, They also had possessions in Arsinoe, as well as in
Hermopolis, and despite the expansion of these possessions and their spread in more than
one province, they lived in Alexandria, becose of the nature of the jobs they occupied
required their presence in Alexandria, So they entrusted a group of employees with
managing their property, but under the supervision of family members.
Also, some family members have obtained honorary memberships, such as the honorary
membership of the Muston, and they participated in official missions, as one of the family
members was among the mission that the Alexandrians sent to Emperor Claudius after the
situation calmed down between the Alexandrians and the Jews in Alexandria, and also
during the reign of Emperor Trajan, when a mission went to appear standing in front of the
Emperor and defend their point of view in the dispute with the Jews, a family member was
