Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Computers and information - Department of Information Technology Summary: Body sensor network (BSN) is a network of sensor attached to human bodies. This body sensor is simple and effective biophysical data captured in real time to monitor human activities. The captured biophysical data are widely used in many healthcare systems. One of the most popular healthcare measurements in BSN is electrocardiogram (ECG). Electrocardiogram (ECG) uses body sensors to record the electrical activity of the heart in order to help diagnosis of heart disease, and to monitor how well heart medicine is working. ECG signal helps doctors to plan the treatment of heart condition. ECG measured in laboratory is usually contaminated by various types of noises. The most common noises are originated from the power line interference, baselines wander and motion artifact. Common noise sources are also affected the body ECG sensor
