  • تأثير استخدام الياف الكربون المتناهية الصغر في تحلية المياة المالحة [Added title page title]
Subject(s): Online resources: Available additional physical forms:
  • Issued also as CD
Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Mechanical Design and Production Summary: The present work aims to study the effects of carbon nanotubes on water desalination. Filters based on carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have been highlighted as an emerging technology for water desalination system applications. This type of filters which incorporating carbon nanotubes are found to be a promising solution for water desalination. The percentage of weight of CNTs that is required to achieve a desired salt rejection is discussed. The basic idea of this methodology is based on addition of CNTs to simple filter and then employed as an adsorbent for salty water Desalination (sodium chloride removal from water) for treatment salty seawater and brackish water
