This risk can be alarming in hospital settings, and several studies have well documented the environmentally mediated transmission of antibiotic-resistant pathogens (Emanuele and Claudia, 2013). Environmental surfaces contamination provide a potential reservoir for pathogens to persist and cause infection in susceptible patients
