By: Contributor(s): Material type: TextTextLanguage: English Publication details: Cairo : Kamel Tamer Kamel Hawash , 2016Description: 149 P. : facsimiles ; 30cmOther title:
  • تأثير زيادة حمل العربات على سلوك الكبارى المعدنية المركبة [Added title page title]
Subject(s): Online resources: Available additional physical forms:
  • Issued also as CD
Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Civil Engineering Summary: Bridge superstructures play an important role in the national transportation network. Increase the weight of trucks on bridges would reduce the expected life time of bridge, therefore this thesis evaluates the effect of these weights on the straining actions of steel girders. In this research, simply supported composite steel girder bridges with different spans were studied and discussed under overloading truck weights up to 200%. Also, investigate the linear and nonlinear behavior of the composite steel I-girder bridges under overloading by using finite element method
