Oncologic and reconstructive breast surgery has evolved in the last 20 years. The diagnostic evaluation of the postoperative breast is challenging because of great variability due to surgery and irradiation. Women who have been treated for breast cancer are at risk for second breast cancers, such as ipsilateral recurrence or contralateral metachronous breast cancer.Contrast-enhanced breast imaging as contrast enhanced spectral mammography and MRI improve the diagnostic accuracy , the per-lesion sensitivity to malignant breast lesions in post operative breast evaluation in comparison with mammography ± US alone.CESM is considered a fast, and reproducible, and breast doses are comparable to those of standard digital mammography.Contrast enhanced magnetic resonance imaging provides high sensitivity in the detection of breast cancer
