Kidneys from 35 of both sexes 22 females and 13 males adult rabbits were used . Anatomical findings : The proper renal pelvis which is a crescentic cavity emanates from the ureter without previous funnel - shaped portion of the terminal part of the ureter . Twelve folds on each surface of the kidney were thrown from the wall of the pelvis and extend deep into the renal tissue
