To evaluate the validity and diagnostic performance of cone beam, multislice and multiplanar reformatted computed tomography in surgical intervention of varying maxillofacial lesions. (Fifteen) patients were investigated to evaluate the accuracy of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and multislice computed tomography (MSCT) in detection of the extension of varying maxillofacial lesions and perforation in cortical boundaries of mandible compared to histopathological findings, where another (Six) patients were evaluated to investigate the role of both modalities in computer-aided maxillofacial surgery
