Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Pharmacy - Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Summary: Polydrug abuse is not a recent phenomenon ; therefore it is surprising that very few studies have examined the toxic and behavioral effects of commonly used drug combination (phillis et al. 2000) The misuse of AASs is a growing problem in different groups in the society (Magnusson et al ., 2009a) as AAS abuse is associated with acts of violence and polydrug use (Birgner et al . , 2007)abuse of AASs can cause several adveeerse physical and mental effects including drug dependence (Kurling et al ., 2005)
