A pharmacognosticalstudy of P. biglobosa (Jacq.) Benth. and P. roxburghii G. Don. family fabaceae. Literature survey on several Parkia species was reviewed. Botanical study and DNA fingerprinting of P. roxburghii G. Don. and P. biglobosa (Jacq.) benth. was carried out. Moreover, micropropagation study of P. roxburghii G. Don. and P. biglobosa (Jacq.) benth. by induction of callus from different explants and by seed germination then induction of callus from the In-vitro germinated seedlings. A detailed phytochemical study included a preliminary phytochemical screening. The chemical study yielded Ü- amyrin, Ý- amyrin palmitate, stigmasterol, Ý - sitosterol, lupeol, hexacosanol, protocatechuic acid, kaempferol, Isorhamnetin, Isoquercitrin and apigenin 6- C- rhamnoside from leaves extract of P. roxburghii G. Don. HPLC estimation of phenolic content in butanol fraction of P. roxburghii G. Don. leaves extract was also performed. Also, cytotoxicity, hepatoprotective, antioxidant, and immunostimulant activities of leaves and stem bark of P. roxburghii G. Don. were evaluated
