520 _aCupping therapy is an incredibly ancient and universal practice that spans both East and West. This therapy is gradually gaining recognition in different parts of the world because of its ability to alleviate symptoms of several ailments. Purpose: this study aimed to investigate the effect of cupping therapy added to high intensity interval exercise on selected blood parameters in athlete performance on football players. Subjects and Methods: The study was conducted at Wadi Degla Football Club. It was conducted in the period from July 2021 till September 2021. The recruited players were randomly assigned into two equal groups by using computerized randomization. Serially numbered opaque envelopes were used and opened by an investigator who has no direct contact with the participants. Fourty male football players aged 18-33 years old from Wadi Degla football Club were included in the study and were divided into two equal groups containing 20 players each. group (A) (Experimental group) twenty players received cupping therapy once per month for 3 months with high intensity intermittent exercise including Fifa 11+ protocol pre and post training for 6 days per week for 3 months. group (B)(Control group) twenty players received high intensity intermittent exercise including Fifa 11+ protocol pre and post training for 6 days per week for 3 months. Weight and height scale was used before and after the study, Blood Samples were collected for measuring blood concentrations, yo-yo intermtent endurance test level 2 was performed before and after the study. Results: Experimental group showed more increase in MCHC(P=0.026), PLT(P=0.014), lymphocytes (0.047) and DIST (P=0.007) than control group with more decrease than control group in ESR (P=0.031) only. Conclusion: Cupping have statistically significant effect on some inflammatory, coagulation and performance parameters in football players.
