| 520 | _aThe current study was conducted in order to achieve the main objective of determining the role of infrastructure projects in enhancing the cultural identity of the Halayeb and Shalateen regions in the south of the Arab Republic of Egypt. In order to achieve the general and main objective of the study, the researcher used many methodological and theoretical procedures such as, the anthropological approach, the theory of world visions, and field tools such as interview and observation. The study reached a set of results, including: - The people of Halayeb and Shalateen have an ancient cultural heritage of customs, traditions, history and language, which is evident in their adherence to preserving it and passing it on to generations (clothing, housing, food, rituals of life, and a way of social control). - There is a clear change in the patterns and lifestyle, as people adapt to the infrastructure projects that have been set up in the community. | ||
