Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a complex disease, which affect many organs besides pancreas such as the liver, brain, eye, heart, and kidney causing diabetic complications. Oxidative stress plays a key role in in the pathogenesis of insulin resistance and B-cell dysfunction. The current study aimed to use oxidative stress markers as early predictors for progression of diabetes complications in type 2 diabetic patients.
