520			_aDespite their known efficacy, recent studies have found that there is adverse health problem accompanied with Mirena as follows; anxious‐depressive disorders, sexual disorders, weight gain, and pain (gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal). Therefore, the current study aims to assess health problems among Levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system (Mirena) users. A descriptive design was utilized in the current study. This study was conducted at gynecological clinic in Rofayda Obstetrics and Gynecology private Hospital, el-sheik Zaid, El Giza Sector-Egypt. A purposive sample of 50 women using Levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine (Mirena) system for at least six months. Two tools were used for data collection; 1) Health problems assessment tool and 2) Satisfaction level among Mirena users tool. Results: The mean age among the study sample was 35.56 ± 6.42 years. The common health problems among the study sample were physical problems 24% in form of headache, 40% had weight gain, dermatological problem including 34% acne and 22% of the study sample had menstrual disturbance. Regarding psychological disturbance, 32% had depression, 42% had mood swings, Regarding gynecological problems, 22% had a vaginal infection. As well as, 8% had a decrease in libido. Conclusion: Mirena is a promising and effective option for contraceptive and noncontraceptive methods. It is associated with health problems, as reported by Mirena users. Recommendations: Organized educational guidelines about uses, complaints, and health problems towards Mirena as; lectures, handouts, and videos should be designed and become accessible to all women in the outpatient clinics.
520			_aالصحة الإنجابية جزء أساسى من حياة الإنسان , ووسائل منع الحمل ضرورية للمرأة وتعتبر جزءا من حقوق الإنسان الأساسية وكذلك تعزز الدور الحيوى للمرأة في جميع أنحاء العالم . كان أول استخدام لحبوب منع الحمل التى تؤخذ عن طريق الفم في عام 0691 ثم توالي تطوير وسائل منع الحمل لإعطاء المرأة المزيد من الخيارات والتحكم فيما يخص الصحة الإنجابية من خلال استخدام وسائل منع الحمل المتطورة الحديثة والفعالة .تم استخدام التكنولوجيا لتوفير مجموعة متنوعة من وسائل منع الحمل وتوفيرها للسيدات والتي تمكنهم من الحصول علي خيارات مناسبة وعديدة يسهل الوصول إليها وفي متناول الجميع في سن الإنجاب . موانع الحمل الهرمونية المؤقتة وطويلة الأجل منها اللولب الهرمونى حيث أنه عالى الفعالية بين مستخدميه, ولذلك لما له من مشاكل صحية وزيارات متابعة ووصفة تكرار أقل بالمقارنة مع وسائل منع الحمل الأخرى. اللولب الهرمونى )ميرينا( هو وسيلة فعالة لمنع الحمل , وله نتائج فعالة لعلاج النزيف الرحمى. يعتبر منع الحمل هو استخدام معتمد لوسائل منع الحمل ويستخدم في جميع أنحاء العالم وينتشر بصورة كبيرة حيث يبلغ استخدام موانع الحمل كل عام ) 92.6 ٪(. ومما يميزه أنه يمكن إيقاف تأثيره وعودة الخصوبة في المعدل الطبيعى مما يجعله وسيلة مناسبة للكثير من السيدات.استخدام اللولب الهرمونى )ميرينا ( لا يمنع عملية التبويض , ولكنه يقلل من سمك بطانة الرحم ,كذلك يجعل مخاط عنق الرحم أكثر سمكًا مما يمنع وصول الحيوانات المنوية إلى الرحم وقناتى فالوب مما يعيق عملية تخصيب البويضة . لا يحمي اللولب الهرمونى من عدوى الحوض والأمراض المنقولة جنسياً. علاوة على ذلك , قد يكون فعالًا في
