520			_a Fifty-one patients. Group (A), was received ice massage plus conventional therapy. Group (B), was receive positional release plus conventional therapy, and group (C) was received conventional therapy only consisted of Tens application, stretching of upper trapezius and life style modification they received their treatment 3 times a week for 6 successive weeks. Assessment was done for all patients before treatment (pre-test) & after treatment (post-test) Visual analog scale (VAS) was used for pain severity assessment, Arabic version of Bournemouth questionnaire was used for function and health status assessment, Algometer was used for pain pressure threshold assessment, and Cervical range of motion Instrument CROM was used for cervical ROM assessment.
520			_aشارك 51 مريضًا من كلا الجنسين من العيادة الخارجية بكلية العلاج الطبيعي بجامعة حورس، دمياط الجديدة، مصر الذين تم تشخيصهم بنقاط الزناد في العضلة شبه المنحرفة من قبل طبيب العظام. تتراوح أعمارهم من 18-35 سنة. تضمن تقييم جميع المرضى استخدام المقياس التناظري البصري لتقييم الألم، واستخدم استبيان بورنموث لتقييم الوظيفة والحالة الصحية، واستخدم جهاز الألجوميتر لتقييم شدة ضغط الألم، واستخدم مقياس زوايا الحركة لتقييم مدى حركة الرقبة. تم تقسيمهم بصورة عشوائية إلى ثلاث مجموعات. تلقت المجموعة (أ) التدليك بالثلج بالإضافة إلى العلاج التقليدي، المجموعة (ب) تلقت التحرير الموضعي بالإضافة إلى العلاج التقليدي، المجموعة (ت) تلقت العلاج التقليدي تم تلقي العلاج 3 مرات بالاسبوع لمدة 6 أسابيع.
