520			_aThe first chapter discusses global renewable energy (RE), define the concept of RE and RES, SDGs, and renewable energy in Egypt. The second chapter discusses renewables' significance in the European Green Deal, the EU's 2030 renewable energy strategy, and EU-Egypt cooperation in renewables. The third chapter highlights strategic investment in solar energy as an effective decarbonizing approach in Egypt. The thesis concludes that the EU's contribution to renewable energy in Egypt is a significant example of how international cooperation can help to address global challenges such as climate change and energy security. The EU's support is helping Egypt's transition to a clean energy future, which will benefit both parties in the long term.
520			_aيتحول العالم إلى قرية بسبب الحاجة المشتركة لتلبية احتياجات السكان من الطاقة. ويربط الباحثون هذا التحول بأهمية الطاقة في تحقيق التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية وتحسين رفاهية الإنسان. تهدف هذه الرسالة إلى تقييم وفورات التكلفة الاجتماعية لمشاريع الطاقة الشمسية الممولة من البنك الأوروبي للإنشاء والتعمير في مصر. ويقدم لمحة عامة عن مشاركة البنك الأوروبي لإعادة الإعمار والتنمية في تعزيز الطاقة المتجددة في مصر وتأثيرها على مزيج الطاقة في البلاد. ويحلل مشاريع الطاقة الشمسية الثلاثة التي يمولها البنك الأوروبي لإعادة الإعمار والتنمية ومساهمتها في الحد من انبعاثات الكربون وتعزيز التنمية المستدامة. ومن خلال حساب انبعاثات ثاني أكسيد الكربون التي تم تجنبها والتكاليف الاجتماعية التي تم توفيرها لهذه المشاريع، خلصت الدراسة إلى أن مساهمة البنك الأوروبي لإعادة الإعمار والتنمية كبيرة، مما يسلط الضوء على أهمية الشراكة في الطاقة المتجددة لتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة والتخفيف من تغير المناخ.
