520			_aBackground: Lax skin is a common consequence of bariatric weight loss, and it may require one or more plastic interventions. Indication of plastic surgery is nevertheless a technical as well as professional challenge, because it deals with body image, and may interfere both positively and negatively with quality of life and psychosocial well-being High intensity focused ultrasound was recently introduced as a new treatment modality for skin tightening and rejuvenation without surgical complications and downtime. Purpose: The purpose of the study is to evaluate the therapeutic effect of High intensity focused ultrasound in treatment of abdominal skin laxity post sleeve gastrectomy. Subjects and methods: Eighty-six female patients who had post sleeve gastrectomy mild to moderate abdominal skin laxity participated in this study. Their ages were ranged from 30 to 45 years. The participants were selected from El Kasr El Aini hospital and randomly distributed into two equal groups, group(A) includes 43 patients who had abdominal skin laxity post sleeve gastrectomy and who received high intensity focused ultrasound. plus medical topical firming creams patients received one session; time of session is 40 minutes, group(B) includes 43 patients who had abdominal skin laxity post sleeve gastrectomy and who received medical topical firming creams , High intensity focused ultrasound was used as therapeutic equipment with frequency 7-2MH, focal depth 1.5-9 mm, energy 1.0-1.5 J, we used modified tissue tonometer and investigator global aesthetic improvement scale for measuring skin laxity improvement .Results :The results showed significant improvement in group (A) High intensity focused ultrasound group .Conclusion: high intensity focused ultrasound is effective in treatment of abdominal skin laxity .
520			_aالخلفية: الجلد المترهل هو نتيجة شائعة لفقدان الوزن بسبب السمنة، وقد يتطلب تدخلًا تجميليًا واحدًا أو أكثر. ومع ذلك، فإن الإشارة إلى الجراحة التجميلية تعد تحديًا تقنيًا ومهنيًا، لأنها تتعامل مع صورة الجسم ، وقد تتداخل بشكل إيجابي وسلبي مع جودة الحياة والرفاهية النفسية والاجتماعية ، وقد تم تقديم الموجات فوق الصوتية المركزة عالية الشدة مؤخرًا كطريقة علاج جديدة لشد الجلد و التجديد بدون مضاعفات جراحية وفترة نقاهة. هدف البحث: الغرض من الدراسة هو تقييم التأثير العلاجي للموجات فوق الصوتية المركزة عالية الشدة في علاج ارتخاء جلد البطن بعد تكميم المعدة. الأساليب: شارك في هذه الدراسة ست وثمانون مريضة خضعن لتراخي جلد البطن بعد تكميم المعدة. تراوحت أعمارهم بين 30 و45 سنة. تم اختيار المشاركين من مستشفى القصر العيني وتوزيعهم عشوائيًا على مجموعتين متساويتين، المجموعة (أ) تضم 43 مريضًا يعانون من تراخي في جلد البطن بعد تكميم المعدة والذين تلقوا موجات فوق صوتية مركزة عالية الشدة. بالإضافة إلى الكريمات الطبية الموضعية لشد الجلد، تم إجراء جلسة واحدة للمرضى؛ مدة الجلسة 40 دقيقة، المجموعة (ب) تضم 43 مريضاً عانوا من ارتخاء في جلد البطن بعد تكميم المعدة وحصلوا على كريمات طبية موضعية لشد الجلد، تم استخدام الموجات فوق الصوتية المركزة عالية الشدة كأجهزة علاجية بتردد 7-2ميجا هيرتز، عمق بؤري 1.5-9 مم، طاقة 1.0-1.5 جول ، استخدمنا مقياس توتر الأنسجة المعدل ومقياس التحسين الجمالي العالمي المحقق لقياس تحسن ترهل الجلد. النتائج: أظهرت النتائج تحسنًا ملحوظًا في المجموعة (أ) مجموعة الموجات فوق الصوتية المركزة عالية الشدة. الاستنتاج: الموجات فوق الصوتية المركزة عالية الكثافة هي فعال في علاج ترهل جلد البطن.
