520			_aThis thesis covers an experimental examination into the static behavior of short columns made of recycled aggregate concrete with a square cross-section (150 mm x 150 mm) and a height of 800 mm that have been eccentrically compressed. Eight columns were tested until failure under eccentric compression force. This experiment's parameters comprised the recycled coarse aggregate (RCA) replacement ratio (0 and 50 percent) and the load eccentricity ratio (0, 50, 100 and 150 millimeters). The effect of these factors on the failure behavior, ultimate load, and force-displacement curves of RCA columns is investigated. The test findings showed that eccentric compressed RCA specimens often have stable load versus deformation curves that include the first linear and subsequent nonlinear stages before reaching peak load and the post-peak falling condition.
