520 _aIn this study , we describe a technique for percutaneous pinning of talar neck fractures . This technique , which uses 2 partially threaded cannulated screws . Either from anterior to posterior or from posterior to anterior , minimizes soft - tissue injury and blood - supply disruption and can shorten surgery . In addition , it allows for fracture compression and optimal positioning of screws , which increase the biomechanical stability of the fixation
