520 _aThe objective of this study was to compare optical loupe with surgical microscope as regard to sperm retrieval rate (SRR) in microsurgical TESE in cases with NOA . Eighty four patients with non - obstructive azoospermia were subjected to microsurgical testicular sperm extraction (TESE) using optical loupe (8x) for one side . If the initial search at the operation theater was negative for sperm , the other thestis was opened using surgical microscope (20-32x)
