520 | _aNanobacteria (NB) is a type of bacteria its size 200 - 300 nm. Recent evidence suggests a role of nanobacteria in a number of human diseases, especially renal stone formation (calcium oxalate and carbonate), arteriosclerosis, carotid artery calcification, chronic prostatitis, arthritis and gall bladder stones. It has become clear that the pathophysiology of renal stone disease cannot be explained by crystallization processes alone. We searched for nanobacteria from 8 aseptically kidney stones. Scanning electron microscope (SEM and TEM) images showed spherical units in the carbonate apatite kidney stones were clearly similar in size and morphology also chemical analysis of the stone by EDX | ||
