520 _aArum palaestinum Boiss. was collected from its natural habitat and subjected to tissue culture system, biochemical, molecular and phytochemical analysis. Tissue culture derived plantlets were successfully acclimatized under ex vitro conditions. Protein analysis referred that, the difference in protein profiles in the examined samples suggested that a real genetic change might be occurred while obtained results of the inter simple sequence repeat (ISSR) showed variation between the regenerated plants and mother plant. Eight phenolic compounds were isolated and identified from aerial parts of the plant and compared against tissue culture explants by using HPLC technique. The extracts and the pure compounds were evaluated against four human carcinoma cell lines HEP2, HELA, HEPG2 and MCF7
