520 _aWhen a test of multiple ANOVA (Multivariate Analysis Of Variance) is found to be significant, it must be followed by other analyses before a researcher can arrive at an accurate understanding of the data set. Two possibilities for follow-up analyses include univariate ANOVA and Discriminant Analysis. Researchers often choose to use univariate ANOVAs as a post hoc procedure following significant MANOVA results. However, univariate follow-up tests ignore the intercorrelations among the MANOVA dependent variables. Descriptive Discriminant Analysis (DDA) as a MANOVA post hoc procedure preserves the interrelatedness of the MANOVA dependent variables, yet little is known about the importance of DDA as a MANOVA post hoc procedure. The goal of the current thesis is to compare between two different post hoc tests after detecting significant differences within factors on multiple dependent variables using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA).Univariate F test and DDA were used to detect group differences in the dependent variables after the overall significant F test in MANOVA. We compare the univariate F test to Descriptive Discriminant Analysis (DDA)
