520 _aThe current study explore a complete range of feeding practices used by mothers, the most commonly used approaches were, encouraging balance and variety in food intake of their children (median =20.), modeling healthy eating behaviour for their children (median = 20), teaching about nutrition (median= 15) and to lesser extend involvement (median=11) , environment, parents make healthy foods available in the home(median =16) , rewarding (median =11) and control (median=20.0) . Furthermore, the results shows that a minority of participants applied restriction for health (median=14) more than restriction for weight (median =16), used food to regulate their children's emotions (median=5) and tended to place pressure on their children to eat meals which are prepared (median=12)
