520 _aThe present study was designed to assess the incidence of different anatomical variations of the LCA and their branches. It was carried out on eleven human adult cadaveric hearts and sixty 3D-CCTA scans obtained from anatomy and radiology departments, Cairo University as well as Nile scan center. The current work revealed that the left coronary artery originated from the left posterior aortic sinus in 95.8% of studied hearts. A higher take off origin of the LCA was detected in 4.2% of the hearts. The incidence of the LCA branching mode was 71.8%, 21.1% and 7% for the bifurcation, trifurcation and tetrafurcation; respectively. A statistically significant correlation between the small branches of LAD and CX arteries and the mode of branching of the LCA has been demonstrateThe present study was designed to assess the incidence of different anatomical variations of the LCA and their branches.
