520 _aGenus pistacia belongs to family Anacardiaceae. It is native throughout the Mediterranean region. It has a considerable medicinal and economic importance. The goal of this study was to investigate the genetic similarity between three Pistacia species using 2 different techniques RAPD and ISSR revealing up to77 % and 69% genetic similarity, respectively, between P. chinensis bunge and P. lentiscus L. and 0% genetic similarity between P. khinjuk stocks and P. chinensis bunge, as well as evaluating their Protein Profile which revealed 25% similarity coefficient between them. GC/MS for the essential oils of the three Pistacia species were investigated 23 volatile constituent were identified in P. chinensis bunge fresh leaves constituting 97.69% of the total oil, 31 volatile constituents were identified in P. khinjuk Stocks leaves constituting 99.99% of the oil and 48 volatile constituent in P. lentiscus L. leaves constituting 98.14% of the oil. GC/MS analysis of the unsaponifiable matter of P. chinensis Bunge leaves revealed the presence of 28 compounds, representing 98.38% of the total identified compounds, while P. khinjuk Stocks revealed the presence of 25 compounds, representing 96.13% of the total identified compound and P. lentiscus L. revealed the presence of 27 compound representing 98.59 %. GC/MS analysis of the fatty acid methyl esters of P. chinensis Bunge leaves showed the presence of 13 compound representing 98.56% of the total identified compounds, while P. khinjuk Stocks showed the presence of 10 compounds representing 99.11% of the total identified compounds and P. lentiscus L. showed the presence of 17 compound representing 98.22% of the total identified compounds
