520 _aBackground: Urologic pelvic surgery is the integration of surgical activities for the pelvis, the colon, urogenital, and gynecological organs primarily for the treatment of obstructions, dysfunction, malignancies, and inflammatory diseases. Objective: to investigate the effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on lower limb compartment syndrome after urological pelvic surgeries. Methods: The current study was enrolled on forty patients of both sexes (16 males and 24 females) who had compartment syndrome following urological pelvic surgeries. They were selected and recruited randomly from Naser Institute. Patient's ages ranged from 20-40 years. They were divided randomly into two groups of equal numbers (20 patients each); Group (A): hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) group who received traditional physical therapy addition to HBOT, while group (B) (control group) received only traditional physical therapy program in form of calf stretching, soft tissue mobilization and massage. All patients were evaluated before and after four successive weeks of treatment program by using visual analog scale (VAS) and ankle brachial pressure index. Results: There is a significant difference in all measured variables of post treatment values between group a an group (B) in favour of group (A) The analysis of the results of the current study revealed a significant improvement in pain level and ankle brachial pressure index in both groups (A) and (B) with a significant improvement in group (A) more than group (B). Statistical significance was established at the conventional 0.05 level.(p<0.05) Conclusions: Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has an effect on lower limb compartment syndrome after urological pelvic surgery
