Patients and methods: This retrospective study includes all patients who had sentinel lymph node biopsy at the National Cancer Institute between January 2013 and December 2015. Results : According to Frozen results of detected SLN(s) 19 patients out of the thirty were negative for axillary lymph node dissection and has the only positive nodes in the SLN biopsy, they are our group of interest with the following characteristics: {uF0B7} Most of patients are postmeopausal (age more than 50 years ),with T1&T2 tumour size (size less than 4.5 cm ), Underwent conservative breast surgery . {uF0B7} pathological type Invasive duct carcinoma of Grade 2. {uF0B7} Positive ER,PR & negative HER 2neu . Also, SLNB is an indicator for the axilla, by increasing number of positive SLN the axilla may contain another positive lymph nodes | ||
