520 _aStudent satisfaction and academic achievement can be affected by many factors such as the education system (Raewf and Thabit, 2015). Credit hour system (CHS) is a newly implemented education system in Egypt. A descriptive exploratory design was utilized to achieve the aim of the current study. The study sample consisted of all fourth level students in the last semester who choose to participate in the study. Students' satisfaction about credit hour system implementation questionnaire was utilized to collect the data of the current study. The results of the current study showed that the students had moderate level of satisfaction and mean cumulative GPA was (2.53) (C+). And a negative correlation between students' satisfaction about credit hour system implementation and students{u2019} academic achievement (r=-0.16, P=0.04). The current study recommended that the faculty administration should plan training programs to raise the awareness of faculty personnel (faculty members and employees) about CHS, plan sufficient orientation programs for the newly admitted students about CHS, academic advising and their roles as both students and advisees. Also, the faculty administration should plan training programs to raise the awareness of faculty members about academic advising system and their responsibilities as academic advisors. And formulate the academic advising through the internet (electronic advising), to facilitate access of the students to their academic advisors and save the time of both advisor and advisees
