520 _aThe present thesis illustrates the details of the parametric study for the precipitation of magnesium from bittern as magnesium oxalate. The target of thesis is to produce magnesium oxalate as a precursor for high purity MgO production. A kinetic study was developed to describe the process. The effect of different calcinations temperature was studied, giving high purity magnesium oxide with excellent morphology.
