520 | _aThe main aims of this thesis are as follows: Using the log-gamma generated approach for introducing a new distribution which is called log- gamma Rayleigh distribution. Expansion for the probability density function is obtained. Many statistical properties of proposed distribution are introduced such as: hazard rate function, survival function, cumulative hazard rate function, quantile function, order statistics of the distribution, r- th moment, moment generating function, Rényi and Shannon entropies and maximum likelihood estimates for the distribution parameters are obtained.
