520 _aThe present study was calculated to evaluate the mycological status of meatin slaughterhouse and its surroundingsOne hundred and thirty samples of different kind of meat (cattle , sheep , and bufallo calves meat) were examined and revealed isolation of various fungal isolatesThe environmental factors in slaughter halls (air , water , walls , floors and worker hand) was reported to play essential role in fungal contamination of meatThe same isolated fungi from environmental factors as well as meat was detected in this studyThe isolated Aflavus and Aochraceus from samples were screened for mycotoxins production which yeilding a significant levels of aflatoxin B1and ochratoxin AHow ever most of isolated fungi showed a proteolytic and lipolytic activityThere for , all hygenic measures must be adapted during different steps of meat productionTo avoid the danger of fungal and mycotoxin contamination of meat
