520 | _aBuilding Information Modeling (BIM) changed the way of thinking since its first appearance in the 1970{u2019}s. BIM not only changes the way of how information is generated but also how information is managed and communicated through project stakeholders. In-addition to the recognized benefits of BIM, perceived barriers are restricting its adoption. Despite the variable applications and models of how BIM can be adopted, this thesis will conduct a literature review, analyzing international guidelines for the proper way of implementing BIM. Upon this review of more than 37 well established and recognized guidelines worldwide, a framework is proposed to establish a more practical and applicable procedure for BIM, to support the construction industry in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region | ||
