520 _aBackground: Syncope is a common problem in children and adolescents, the causes of syncope are diverse, but in most instances, are relatively benign (e.g., reflex and orthostatic faints). However, syncope may be due to more worrisome conditions with potential for sudden death (particularly those associated with cardiac structural disease or channelopathies). So, identification of the etiology of syncope is crucial in order to initiate effective therapy. The aim of the study: to estimate the prevalence of arrhythmia among pediatric patients with syncope presenting to the arrhythmia clinic Methods: 25 pediatric patients presenting to arrhythmia clinic with syncope were studied regarding their history, complete physical examination, Vital signs including postural blood pressure, 12 Leads ECG, Holter monitor, Echocardiography. Results: vasovagal syncope is the most common type of syncope among the cases (80.0%). arrhythmia was found in eleven cases (44%) but was the cause of syncope in only four cases of them (16%)
