520 _aThe main objective of this research is to examine the impact of determinants under firm-specific and macroeconomic risk factors on fire insurance net premium for one of the leading public non-life insurance company in Egypt. The predictors include firm size, coverage type and losses, reinsurance issued premiums ratio, expense ratio, net investment income ratio, profit margin, loss ratio, GDP, interest rate, inflation rate and seasonal effects. This research starts with an overview of fire insurance business in Egypt. To achieve the aim of this research, Multiple Linear Regression model is developed to examine the statistical significance of the impact of predictors on net fire insurance premium. Annual aggregated data is collected for a period of 20 years from 1994/1995 to 2013/2014. Classical distributions are fitted to net fire insurance claims data to determine the best fit distribution. The main result of the study revealed that, there is a statistically significant relationship between natural logarithm of net premium variable and natural logarithm of medium-risk claims, reinsurance issued premium ratio, interest rate and the last five
