Summary: The oncologic safety of Submental island flap (SIF) in oral cavity cancer reconstruction is still controversial particularly in the patients with nodal metastasis. This study aimed to test the non-inferiority of the contralateral submental island flap (CSIF) compared with primary closure (PC), regarding the local recurrence, after partial glossectomy in patients with oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma (OTSCC).Summary: السلامه الورميه لإستخدام السبيله المعلقه للشريان تحت الذقني في ترميم عيوب التجويف الفموي الناتجه عن استئصال الاورام الخبيثه لاتزال محل خلاف خصوصا لدى المرضى اللذين لديهم عقد ليمفاويه موجبه. في الآونة الأخيرة، تم وصف السبيله المعلقه للشريان تحت الذقني من الجانب المقابل كخيار قابل للتطبيق في هؤلاء المرضى. كان الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو مقارنة النتائج الورميه لترميم اللسان بالسبيله المعلقه للشريان تحت الذقني المقابل مقارنه بالغلق الاولي بعد استئصال سرطان الخلايا الحرشفي.
