It was aimed to investigate the performance of thinning methods by control palms were left without thinning , removing 1/3 strands length of bunch (SLB), removing 1/3 Strands Number from bunch center (SNB), removing 1/3 of Total bunches number (TB(. Thinning methods were sprayed once either after fruit set or at kimri stage, or at khalal stage with either 0.2% potassium phosphite (KP) or 0.25% calcium boron (CaB) or tap water. Summary: أجريت الدراسة على صنفي البرحي والمجدول في الواحات البحرية عامي 2019 و 2020. لمعرفة تأثير طرق الخف بواسطة إزالة الثلث السفلي من السباطة أو إزالة ثلث السباطة من المركز او إزالة ثلث العدد الكلي للسباطات إضافة للكنترول. طرق الخف تم رشها اثناء مراحل نمو الثمرة ( بعد العقد او في مرحلة الكمري او في مرحلة الخلال حيث تم الرش بالبوتاسيوم فوسفيت بتركيز 0.2% او الكالسيوم بورون بتركيز 0.25% او الرش بالماء). أشارت النتائج : بالنسبة لجودة الثمار أدى خف ثلث المركز مع رش البوتاسيوم فوسفيت في مرحلة الكمري لزيادة وزن وطول الثمرة ومحتوى الثمار من المواد الصلبة الذائبة الكلية ومحتواها من السكريات الكلية في صنف المجدول ، بينما أدى خف الثلث السفلي مع رش الكالسيوم بورون بعد عقد الثمار لزيادة قطر وطول وحجم الثمرة والسكريات الكلية في صنف البرحي
